A Taiwan-based company that owns the folowing brands:

Mika Gallery exclusively represents globally authorized artists,
requiring over a year of international exhibition testing and strict character evaluations before signing.

In 2022,

Mika Gallery discovered Riri Okemoto, an artist from Yamagata, Japan. Her works, blending traditional Chinese lacquer and mother-of-pearl techniques with mixed-media painting, captivated the team. Her unique, darkly glamorous, and dreamy two-dimensional style promises to offer something extraordinary for this generation.

In 2023,

Mika Gallery discovered South Korean ceramic artist Shin Dong-eun, whose works convey the uncertainty and fears of youth about life and death. Despite the darkness, Shin aims to inspire courage to overcome fears and break free from personal struggles through her creations.

In 2024,

thanks to a recommendation, Mika Gallery encountered Inner Mongolian artist Jin Yi. Her luminous depictions of shepherdesses radiate hope, symbolizing resilience and light amid adversity. Her works encourage viewers to hold onto optimism and journey through life with renewed faith.

Founder

Mika Wu

Inspired by Chinese history, Japanese anime, video games, Hollywood films, Bollywood musicals, and European electronic music, Mika Wu transitioned from a film career to art.

From 2009 to 2020, Mika Wu worked behind the scenes in film as a director, producer, and cinematographer, while organizing two electronic music parties. She honed her skills in color aesthetics, visual composition, and light sensitivity. Mika earned certifications through joint programs with the Beijing Film Academy and the New York Film Academy. Her microfilm The Building Has Ghosts was nominated for the 38th Golden Harvest Awards in Taiwan and the 32nd Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

In 2020, Mika Wu was introduced to contemporary art through the Be@brick collaboration, which captivated her deeply, leading her to immerse herself in this previously unexplored field. In 2021, she founded BoonBoon Art, a brand dedicated to art and cultural creativity in New Taipei City’s Banqiao District. In 2024, she established Mika Gallery in Taipei’s Da’an District, focusing on developing and nurturing contemporary artists.

We will continue to grow and participate in international art fairs and cultural exhibitions across more regions. Through exhibition collaborations and artist IP partnerships, we aim to build a new generation of influence, elevating our gallery and cultural brand internationally. Our goal is to offer a wider range of services for all art enthusiasts.
